AYOKONG magdrama sa teleserye dahil sasakit lang ang ulo ko."

It was Regine Velasquez talking at the second presscon ng kanyang concert titled R.30 sa Mall of Asia on October 21 at 22.

"Pigang-piga ka na sa emosyon at bitbit mo pa rin ang bagahe ng karakter pag-uwi sa bahay. Mahihirapan ang asawa ko na kalabitin ako. When I go home I want to be my own self. Okey lang na magdrama ako sa pelikula. When the scene is over at sumigaw ang director ng cut ay 'yon na 'yon. But doing it everyday sa isang teleserye, nakakapagod.  Ask me to sing na lang at game ako diyan, anytime.”

Regine considers her concert another big challenge after three decades. Inamin niyang her voice range has changed since giving birth to son Nate and the doctor adviced her to take vitamins. And lots and lots of prayers.

Meanwhile, R30 is billed as a solo concert kahit sabihin pang sangkatutak ang guests ni Regine tulad nina Sarah Geronimo, Erik Santos, Aicelle Santos, Jed Madela and siyempre her husband Ogie Alcasid.

In time for the concert ay ang pagri-release ng kanyang version ng Up Dhama Down song,Tadhana and an original song, Hugot, which she will  definitely sing during the two-day concert. And here is the good news. Buyers of platinum tickets to the R30 concert will get a free copy of the special 3-disc commemorative edition of the album.

R 30 is presented by Viva Live and iME in cooperation with GMA Network. co-presented by PLDT Home and Belo Medical Group. Tickets to the Sunday, Oct. 22 show are still available. These are priced at Platinum P6,720, VIP A P5,040 VIP B P2,080, Patron C P2080, Lower Box 1 P2,240 Lower Box 2 P1,680. Upper Box A P840 and General Admission P392.

It will be an evening of good music and golden memories at nakatitiyak kaming kakalimutan muna ni Richard Gomez ang kanyang pagiging  mayor mapanood lamang ang concert ni Regine whom he idolized ever since.

BIMBY FALLS VICTIM TO BASHER

SOCIAL media spares no one. Hindi si Kris Aquino ang pinagtripan ng isang walang magawang basher kundi ang anak niyang si Bimby. This is how it started. Nagsimba si Kris kasama ang dalawang anak and while waiting for their car ay nagpicture-picture muna to find out how tall the boys are now.

Agad nag-comment ang isang netizen ng “and Bimby is gay. At least he is still young..”

Agad nag-react si Kris as any mother would: "I have no issue with sexual preferences but I do have an issue with you deciding for my son. If you have prejudices please express it elsewhere."

Dumipensa rin si Pokwang who posted: “Okay lang na maging bakla ang magiging anak ko, huwag lamang lumabas na bastos.”

Bimby's dad, James Yap has no comment yet.

EMPOY SHOULD PROVE HE'S NOT FLASH IN THE PAN

ANG second movie ni Empoy Marquez, The Barker, is due for showing by the end of the month. With all the hype thrown at him, marami ang naniniwalang ka-level na siya ng mga sikat na male talents ng Kapamilya. Ang description nga sa kanya ay  the "new pogi." At wala siyang balak magpa-retoke. (Well, hayaan na 'yan kay Xander Ford.)

Will his second movie surpass the earnings of his first hit, Kita Kita? Sana naman para hindi siya mabansagang “a flash in the pan”.
