SUBIC, Zambales — A drug user was shot dead while his cohort was critically wounded after they complained to the drug pusher that he sold “tawas” and not shabu to them in Barangay Matain here Sunday night. Lito Mas, 38, of Purok 1, Barangay Matain, died on the spot. His cohort Ramil Labandilo, 37, was hit by bullets in the right ring finger and head. SPO2 George Cruz said the victims went to the Muslim area in Purol 3 in Barangay Matain to buy shabu from an unidentified pusher. But the two complained to the suspect that “tawas” and not shabu was given to them, triggering a heated argument between them. The suspect drew a .38 revolver and shot Mas in the head. Labandilo tried to grab the gun but he was also shot. Police are still establishing the identity of the suspect. |
