4 most wanted held in Mandaluyong

FOUR wanted persons were nabbed by elements of Mandaluyong police following a sting of operations
recently.

The arrest was based on the directive of Eastern Police District (EPD) director Chief Supt,
Romulo Sapitula to Mandaluyong Police chief, Senior Supt. Joaquin Alva to intensify operations against
wanted criminals.
    
A teams from the Warrant and Subpoena Section headed by SPO4 Jose Drexell “Bong” Molina and
his men, SPO2 Marlon Lamsin and PO3 Johnny Montilla, arrested Robert Balindao, 59, inside his house at
Block 32, Welfareville Compound, Bgy. Addition Hills.
    
Molina said Balindao was nabbed for attempted murder based on the warrant of arrest issued by
Mandaluyong Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 208 Judge Esteban Tacla Jr.
    
He is also tagged as no. 3 most wanted person in Mandaluyong City, according to Molina.
    
Another wanted person, Roberto Antonino, 40, was collared on Rosario St., Bgy. Plainview, for
charges of vilation of RA 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 on the strength of
warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Cancio-Erum of Mandalu-yong RTC Branch 210.
    
Police also nabbed Jeric Esponilla, 24, and Ronnie Boy Estremos, who were both facing robbery
charges issued by Mandaluyong RTC Branch 211 Judge Ofelia Calo and Judge Carlos Valenzuela,
respectively.
    
Molina said the two robbers were nabbed for illegal vending along EDSA but when police made a
verification they found out that they have pending warrant of arrest.
    
The arrested persons were detained at the Mandaluyong police detention cell.
