NBP reports said an inmate was put under investigation after operatives found in his possession a plastic sachet of shabu.
The unidentified inmate, who admitted that the illegal drugs was recovered from him, claimed that another inmate, whom he declined to identify, asked him to keep the illegal drug for him.
The NBP report said the raid took place early morning with the operatives zeroing in at the medium security compound of NBP.
Seized during the raid were various contraband such as appliances and various bladed weapons that were hidden at the rooftop of a nipa hut where inmates use to hang around.
The raid dubbed “Oplan Galugad” was the 30th in the series that started since last November.
NBP Supt. Richard Schwarzkopf said Oplan Galugad will continue until they get rid of all contraband at the NBP.
