Quezon City policemen arrested a high school teacher and his two friends during a shabu session in Quezon City.

QCPD director Chief Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar identified the teacher as Leo de Luna, 34. His two companions were Jerrico Caparas, 23, and Jhelmar Franco, 20, all residents of Bgy. Batasan Hills and are also included on the drug watchlist.

Reports said that at 3:05 p.m. on September 10, 2017, a concerned citizen tipped off the Barangay Batasan Hills duty desk officer about an ongoing shabu session at 10 Hills St., Talanay Area C, Bgy. Batasan Hills.

Acting on the information, anti-drug operatives of Batasan Police Station (PS-6) were immediately dispatched and caught the suspects in the act of sniffing shabu at the house of De Luna. Seized were seven sachets of shabu and several drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will be brought for inquest by the QC prosecutor for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Eleazar commended the BPSOs and the operatives for their prompt action resulting in the arrest of the suspects.
