GENERAL Trias City -- Mayor Antonio “Ony” Ferrer, together with Vice Mayor Maurito “Morit” Sison, signed a memorandum of agreement with Robinsons Place GenTri administrative officials on the putting up of a passenger terminal at the mall parking area in Bgy. Tejero during the meeting held at Gerry's Grill Restaurant here recently.
Robinsons malls, represented by Arlene Magtibay, SVP-general manager, Robinsons Land Corp., and Irving Wu, operations director Luzon Robinsons malls, agreed to put up a public transport terminal in the area to ease up the traffic congestion in the vicinity of Tejero-Crossing area and safeguard the commuters of the locality and neighboring towns of Rosario and Tanza as part of Public and Private Partnership (PPP) program.
The two parties also signed an agreement for the free movie pass to all the senior citizens of the locality, witnessed by General Trias Senior Citizen Federation President Purisima Arcega.
“Ibinibigay lang po ng ating pamahalaan ang mga benepisyo nila bilang mga senior citizen ng ating lungsod at ’yung gagawing terminal po ay upang maging maluwag ang panulukan ng Tejero sa daloy ng trapiko,” Mayor Ferrer said.
