AN 18-year-old housemaid was stabbed dead by an unidentified suspect who forcibly barged into her employer’s abode yesterday morning in Valenzuela City.

Robie Ellador, native of Negros Occidental and presently residing in her employer’s house at 2411 Yakal Street, Lozano Compound, Old Prodon, Gen. T. De Leon, died on the spot from multiple stab wounds in the body. Her body was discovered by her employer, PO1 Dino Lozano, a rookie cop assigned at the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 9 at 6 a.m.

Valenzuela police chief Senior Supt. Ronaldo Mendoza said that PO1 Lozano left their house at 4:30 a.m. to convey his wife Cherry Rose to her work, leaving the victim and their two-year-old daughter.

When Lozano arrived at his residence, he noticed blood stains scattered on their floor and stairs and later he saw his daughter hugging the lifeless bloodied body of their housemaid at the second floor, prompting him to take away his child before he sought police assistance.

Homicide investigators SPO2 Alexander Manalo and PO3 Antonio Apis in their report said the suspect managed to gain entry by climbing into the terrace and forcibly opened the door.

No valuables or personal belongings were reportedly taken by the suspect after he escaped.
