Pusher killed, 20 nabbed in Bataan 3-day op

CAMP Olivas, Pampanga -- A suspected pusher was slain while 20 others were arrested in a three-day anti-drug operation in different parts of Bataan province from August 8 to 10.

Bataan police director Senior Supt. Banjamin Silo Jr. identified the slain suspect as Alberto Malibiran, of Bgy. Capitanghan, Abucay town. He said the suspect resisted and shot it out with the arresting policemen during a buy-bust operation.

Police confiscated a sachet of shabu and a cal. .38 revolver without serial number and loaded with fired cartridges and live ammunition from the body of the suspect.

Around 9 p.m. on August 10, police arrested Ilomarcel Rabanta, 38, and Leonora Castillo, 36, after they sold P1,000 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Four sachets of shabu were seized from them.

In Bgy. San Pablo, Dinalupihan town, policemen arrested Miramar Castillo, 31, who sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Four plastic sachets of shabu were confiscated from her possession.

One Bomar Caringal, 32, was also arrested in Bgy. Bantan, Orion town, for selling P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer. The suspect was operated upon by the police after concerned citizens reported his illegal activities through the Sumbong Bilis Monitoring Team.

In Bgy. Mabatang, Abucay town, three suspected pushers, identified as Jeffrey Dimla, 29, Edwin Dimla, 33, and Armie Dimla, 30, were arrested in a buy-bust operation. The trio yielded the P500 marked money used in the police operation and two sachets of shabu.
    
Another three suspects were arrested in Bgy. Gabon, also in Abucay. They were Jesus Bundang, 51, Jhenore Bundang, 29, and Rowel Salandanan, 27. They sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Another sachet of the illegal drug was confiscated from them.
    
In Bgy. Townsite, Mariveles, policemen arrested Joseph Ladao, 47, and Alhan Sanchez, 25, for selling shabu to a poseur-buyer. Five sachets of shabu were seized from the duo.
    
One Reydante de Leon was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Sumalo, Hermosa, that also resulted in the confiscation of two plastic sachets of shabu from the suspect.
    
In Bgy. Kaparangan, Orani town, police arrested Midas Miranda, 31, and Alvin Miranda, 29, after they sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500. Three sachets of shabu were seized from them.
    
One Alvin Dagal, 25, was arrested in Bgy. Centro 1, Orani town, after he sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Two other men accompanying the suspect, Arman Ducot, 31, and Apolinario Abaya, 45, were also arrested by the police. Confiscated from them were seven sachets of shabu.
    
In Bgy. Lucanin, Mariveles, one Joseph Cruz, 36, was arrested for selling shabu to a poseur-buyer. Two sachets of shabu and the marked peso bills were recovered from him.
    
Same amount of shabu were seized from one Roland Chao, 42, a beautician, in Bgy. Poblacion, Mariveles. The suspect sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer. An operation was conducted against him after his activities was reported through the Sumbong Bilis Monitoring Team.
    
The suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
