PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte had a heart to heart and very intimate talk with the mayors who came to Malacanang following the Chief Executive’s warning he would kill local executives involved in drugs.

Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar said Duterte had a closed door  and confidential  meeting about the illegal drug trade with over 1,000 mayors in Malacañang Wednesday evening.

“He wanted to talk to them in a very intimate manner... I was not informed kung ano iyong pag-uusapan. It was highly confidential,” Andanar said.

The mayors arrived in Malacañang in three batches, based on their place of origin — Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — it was gathered.

“What I can tell you, it was a heart to heart talk between the President and the mayors. It was amplifying the message of the President on the illegal drugs. Alam naman natin na iyan ang priority policy ng President,” Andanar said.

Earlier Duterte said he would kill mayors on his narco list if they would not resign.
