SAN BEDA plays College of Saint Benilde in a key Group B encounter today in the PVL Collegiate Conference at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Lady Red Spikers hope to bounce back from a disappointing loss the last time out in the 4 p.m. encounter with the Lady Blazers.

After opening the conference with a four-set romp over Technological Institute of the Philippines, San Beda suffered a 22-25, 21-25, 18-25 defeat to NCAA champion Arellano University a week ago.
St. Benilde, for its part, has not played since bowing to the Lady Chiefs, 20-25, 22-25, 17-25, last Sept. 2.
Against the Lady Blazers whom they met in the NCAA semis earlier this year, the Lady Red Spikers hope that Cesca Racraquin and Yani Espiritu will get back into the groove of things after the duo were held to single digits against the Lady Chiefs.
Tied with University of the Philippines in third place with a 1-1 card, San Beda hopes to gain a share of second spot with Arellano (2-1) in Group B. Idle Adamson leads the bracket with a 2-0 record.
The top two teams per group after the eliminations will advance to the best-of-three semifinals.
St. Benilde is still on adjustment period after losing Jeanette Panaga to graduation, as transferees Klarissa Abriam, Marites Pablo and holdover Ranya Musa will lead the charge.
The Lady Pirates and the Lady Bombers, meanwhile, hope to enter the win column and keep whatever hopes in a tough Group A.
Playing in the PVL for the first time in six years, LPU opened its campaign with a straight sets loss to defending champion National University, while JRU absorbed successive defeats to Ateneo and San Sebastian.
