Clarence Tiquia topscored with 24 points for MLQU,  which dropped to 2-3 win-loss overall.

Enderun leaned on John Vidal’s 15 points, five rebounds and five assists to frustrate New Era and clinch its third win in five matches.

Nemesis Dela Cruz  led New Era with 17 markers.

NAASCU commissioner Pido Jarencio decided to cancel the remaining two games pitting St. Francis of Assisi College against Philippine Merchant Marine School and Philippine Christian University and  City University of Pasay due to typhoon Maring.

“We decided to reset the games to ensure the safety of our players ,” said Jarencio, who made the decision after consulting the coaches of the teams.

The SFAC-PMMS match was stopped with 6:05 left in the second quarter due to slippery conditions at the venue.
