A total of 15.6 million passenger arrivals nationwide had been reported in 2025, reflecting sustained growth in international travel to and from the Philippines.
Bureau of Immigration (BI) spokesperson Dana Sandoval said that based on records, immigration officers at all international ports of entry recorded a total of 15,608,868 arrivals from January to December 2025, including 6,704,007 foreign nationals.
Sandoval said the figure represents an almost six percent increase compared to the 14,733,597 arrivals recorded in 2024.
She added that the bureau remains committed to supporting the government’s tourism and economic objectives through continuous modernization of immigration processes—expanding automated systems, upgrading facilities and strengthening its manpower to ensure faster, more secure and more convenient immigration services for travelers.
The BI will continue to align its programs with the national government’s push for digitalization and efficient public service delivery, while maintaining vigilance against transnational crimes and travel-related abuses, she added.
