THE Go Negosyo Woman 2020 Entrepreneurship Summit at the World Trade Center was attended by about 9,000 participants on March 3, 2020, before the lockdown. The summit highlighted women’s contribution to the Philippines and ASEAN with wonderful lessons in entrepreneurship, agriculture, style and substance, tourism, diplomacy, finding confidence and in life.

Twenty-two-year-old Glenda Dela Cruz Victorio, a mother of two, the young CEO of Brilliant Skin Essentials, Inc. who entered the cosmetics and skincare business in the year 2016, was chosen as one of the Women of Style and Substance with over 50 women leaders from the Philippines and the ASEAN who took the stage to share their thoughts, insights, and inspiring journeys.

With them gathered on stage was TV host Bianca Gonzales and sharing experiences from their humble beginnings, Glenda Victorio remarked, “Kailangan may goal ka sa buhay, parang si Google or si Waze. Pag nag-google or nag-waze ka, alam mo kung saan ka pupunta, kahit maligaw ka, kahit na traffic or kahit sobrang tagal bago ka makarating sa pupuntahan mo at least, may pupuntahan ka.”

Only 3 years after its successful launch, she was able to build her skincare community with 46 authorized franchisees and 705 authorized distributors, locally and internationally. Currently, she is the CCIP Vice President for Committee of Ways and Means and honored in America as the 2018 Youngest CEO in the Field of Cosmetics and Skincare, and 2019 Most Outstanding and Influential Online Entrepreneur in the Field of Cosmetics and Skincare.

Starting at age 12, she always knew that she could only do more if she focuses.
Now, aside from Brillian Cosmetics, Glenda also owns a spa and coffee shop known as Brilliant Cafe, Aesthetics, and Spa. She has also partnered with TV host Korina Sanchez-Roxas months after her story was featured in Rated K. Recently, she inked a deal with Ever Bilena to do her cosmetic line called Brilliant Colours, and an extension to her skincare products, SkinFit.

Business is indeed important for her, as she believes that this will help not only her family but the people who’s counting on her, employees that have become close friends whose welfare comes first, before anything else.
