3 crime suspects shot dead in Laguna

THREE men allegedly involved in illegal activities were reportedly shot dead by still unidentified suspects in separate incidents Thursday in Biñan, San Pedro and Pangil, Laguna.

Laguna Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II, in his report to Calabarzon Police Regional IVA Director PBGen. Felipe Natividad, identified the slain victims as Ricky Arzola, of Southville Bgy. Langkiwa, Biñan City, Eduardo Mancio Jr. of Bgy. Pacita 2, San Pedro City and Wilfredo Sina Quiap, of Bgy. Dambo, Pangil, Laguna.

Reports said Arzola was gunned down at about 5:40 a.m. in Purok 2, Bgy. Langkiwa, Binan. He was declared dead at the Ospital ng Biñan by attending physician Dr. Carlos Gacoba.

Initial investigation showed the victim was allegedly involved in a series of robberies, holdups, Akyat Bahay and illegal drug peddling activities in Biñan. He was also reportedly engaged in the theft of motorcycles and trade of stolen motorcycle parts.

Dragnet and follow-up operations are being conducted by Binan police for his killer’s arrest.

Mancia Jr. was shot by four unidentified suspects at around 6:15 p.m. while sitting in front of his residence in San Pedro City. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital due to multiple gunshot wounds in the body.

Quiap, who is reportedly involved in illegal drug was shot by unidentified suspects while in his house at about 3:55 p.m.

The suspects suddenly arrived and shot the victim, killing him on the spot.

Pangil police are conducting follow-up operations for the possible arrest of the suspects.
