3 nabbed for robbing PCG personnel in Tondo

OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District-Police Station 12 arrrested three suspects who allegedly broke into the room of a Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel in Tondo, Manila and then robbed him of valuables.

Charged with robbery at the Manila Prosecutors’ Office were Edison Castro, alias “Bogey”, 28, of 1133 Tagumpay St., Barangay 39, Tondo; John Loyd Romeo, 20, and John Martin Castyotos, alias “Kokoy,” 30.

The suspects were nabbed in a follow-up operation based on a complaint lodged by Jennie Marimar, 24, of the PCG,

The complainant said that on January 2, she went home to her native province of Malvar, Batangas for a vacation and when she returned on January 8, she noticed that her room’s padlock had ben destroyed and her gadgets were missing.

The following day, she went to the police and filed a formal complaint, saying the following items were stolen from her room: a MacBook Air Laptop, an Acer Laptop, an IPhone 5, two Cherry Mobile cellular phones, two Transcend portable hard drives and a pair of expensive rubber shoes.
