4 held for gun, ammo in Rizal

CAMP BGEN. Vicente Lim, Canlubang, Laguna — Police arrested four people for violation of Republic Act 10591, grave threat, Article 148 and 151 of RPC (direct assault, resistance and disobedience to a person in authority), RA 9003 ( Anti Burning Law) and obstruction of justice.

The four suspects allegedly figured in an Sunday in Rodriguez, Rizal, according to provincial police PIO chief Police Captain Marry Anne Crester N. Torres.

A report to PRO4A director, PBGen. Felipe R. Natividad by Rodriguez town police identified the suspects as Jovie Pitula, Rosenely Jawod, Carlos Modelo, and Prudencio Bendicio.

The victim was identified as Rico Conchas.

Investigation showed the victim discovered his fence destroyed at 9 a.m. Sunday. A suspect then appeared and allegedly pointed a gun at his head.

Police arrested the suspects which led to a gunfight.

Police recovered from one of the suspects a Smith and Wesson without serial number loaded with three pieces of live ammunition.
