OPERATIVES from the Smokey Mountain -Police Community Precinct arrested a 40-year-old scavenger for raping the 13-year-old friend of his daughter while the victim was resting inside their home in Tondo, Manila on Wednesday.
Now facing a case of rape before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office and detained at the Manila Police District -Police Station 1 is suspect Juanito, of Cluster 4 Maralla, Brgy. 128 ,Tondo, Manila.
The victim told the police that she was resting in her friend’s house when, at around 2 a.m., she felt someone kissing her in the neck.
When she resisted, the suspect said they will just play and then proceeded to undress and rape her.
Once he came, the suspect warned the victim that he would come back to kill her if she told anyone about what happened.
The victim however, spilled the beans when a certain Jeffrey Corpuz asked her what happened to her, after noticing that she was in shock and seemed exhausted.
The incident reached the mother’s victim who accompanied her to the SM-PCP to file a formal complaint.
