6 PH teams vying in Predator League

WHO will dominate this year’s Predator League 2020/21 Grand Final?

Who will battle their way to the top?

Find out the answers as teams across Asia-Pacific, including six esports teams from the Philippines, battle it out in the coming online-only tournament on April 6- 11.

The Asia-Pacific Predator League 2020/21 Grand Final will be divided into four sub-tournaments: two for Dota 2 and two for PUBG.

The six esports teams which will carry the Philippine flag are ArkAngel Predator, TroubleMaku and Gamers Lounge for PUBG; and TNC Predator, Neon Esports,and Reckoning Esports for Dota 2.

As the Asia-Pacific Predator League 2020/21 Grand Final pushes through after a year of hiatus, teams which qualified for Predator League 2020 Grand Finals as well as organizations invited by Acer can finally display their skills in the upcoming online-only tournament.

A total prize of $400,000USD to be pooled across qualifiers to the four sub-tournaments and the winners will also be given the coveted APAC Predator League Shield and Acer Predator products.

The tournament’s much-awaited return however, isn’t the only source of excitement.

Expected to attract the attention of gaming fans is the battle royale game, Players Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

Three teams will represent the Philippines under PL 2020/21 PUBG APAC Region.

They are ArkAngel Esports, which had a great run in the first PUBG Continental Series last year; TroubleMaku and up-and-coming Gamers Lounge.

Dota 2 fans are also in for a treat as the most sought-after teams across Asia-Pacific go head-to-head for the Dota 2 sub-tournaments.

The TNC Predator, which recently decided to keep its roster all-Filipino with the addition of Marvin “Boomy” Rushton and Jun “Bok” Kanehara, is again expected to carry the region’s banner in the international stage.

Neon Esports will also parade its lineup consisting of Filipino superstars, John Anthony “Natsumi-“ Vargas, Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer, and Rolen Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong.

Reckoning Esports secured its spot in the tournament to further spice up the competition.

Building the hype of the Asia-Pacific Predator League 2020/21 Grand Final, Predator is also giving away up to P40,000 discount on select Predator laptops, desktops, and monitors.
