7 Tarlac ex-rebels get P405K E-CLIP assistance

TARLAC CITY – Seven former rebels received a total of P405,000 financial assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) of the government.

During the recently concluded awarding ceremony, Governor Susan Yap urged the former rebels to maximize the financial aid in starting anew in the mainstream society.

You can criticize the government but there’s no reason to raise arms because that would mean a different story. You can be critical as it helps us know where the government is lacking but there is no need to harm each other. As Filipinos, we should always unite and help one another,” she stressed.

Also, Yap lauded the collaborative efforts the of 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion (3rd Mech), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Tarlac Police Provincial Office, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government in making the event possible.

For his part, 3rd Mech Commander Lieutenant Colonel Eugene Henry Cabusao encouraged the E-CLIP beneficiaries to take advantage of the cash grant and the second chance given by the government to lead better lives anew.
