HERMOSA, Bataan —This town logged eight new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) yesterday, the biggest single day infection.
This was announced by Mayor Jopet Inton himself on his official Facebook account as he appealed to his townmates to always observe social distancing as well as use face masks and face shields.
Quoting a report from the town’s Rural Health Unit, Inton said that among the new COVID cases are a 22-year-old man from Bgy. Mabuco; 24-year-old woman from Bgy. A. Rivera; 31 -year-old woman from Bgy. Tipo; 52-year-old woman from Bgy. Tipo; 58-year-old woman from Bgy. Palihan; 56-year-old woman from Bgy. Palihan; 29-year-old man from Bgy. Pastolan; and a 39-year-old man from Bgy. Mandama.
“Patuloy pa din po ang ating pag-iingat at pag sunod sa ating mga alituntunin ukol sa MGCQ lalo na po ang Minimum Public Health Standards (halimbawa: pagsusuot ng face mask, face shield, social distancing, proper hygiene, at pagpapalakas ng resistensya),” he added.
