9 die of suspected COVID in Quezon

LUCENA CITY — Nine more “suspected” coronavirus desease (COVID-19) carriers were reported to have died in different towns of Quezon.

In its latest bulletin yesterday, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO) announced the deaths but did not provide details.

The QPIO also reported the death of a patient classified as a confirmed COVID-19 carrier. It added that the province recorded 14 more confirmed cases and the recovery of eight.

The QPIO said Quezon has a total of 1,184 confirmed cases including 716 recoveries, 39 deaths and 429 active cases. It added that there are 4, 517 suspected cases with 1,770 discharged, 1,645 cleared, 613 on home quarantine, 99 dead and 390 admittied in the hospital.

Quezon remains under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) except for this city which has been under MGCQ.
