ACDO, ELIM Community, and MSU Alumni Conduct Medical-Dental Mission at INITAO DISTRICT JAIL

The Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro (ACDO), through the Catholic Charismatic Community of St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral, successfully conducted a Medical and Dental Mission at the Initao District Jail, bringing much-needed health services to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

The mission was spearheaded by Fr. Emmanuel P. Pingul Jr., Health Director of ACDO, and Ms. Macel M. Redoble, Health Coordinator, in partnership with the ELIM Community led by Dr. Henry Rosalejos. Supporting medical professionals included Dr. Raquel Rosalejos, Dr. Eva Velasco Kelly, Dr. Bernard Dagatan, Dr. Mira Dagatan, and Dr. Jonathan Somido.

Also present to support the activity were members of MSU-Naawan Fisheries High School Batch 1988–1989, who provided additional assistance to ensure the event’s success.

The mission offered free medical and dental consultations, optical services, reflexology, and barber services, greatly benefitting the physical and emotional well-being of the PDL.

The Initao District Jail, under the leadership of JSINSP GLEN ROBERT C MADARIETA, expressed sincere appreciation for the unwavering commitment and generosity of ACDO, ELIM, and the MSU alumni group in supporting the jail’s rehabilitation efforts.
