IN an effort to help guests get the best value for their money, AirAsia Philippines is offering some insider hacks for scoring the best deals when booking via the AirAsia MOVE app or airasia.com.
Communications and Public Affairs Head First Officer Steve Dailisan said travelers may: book flights at least 21-30 days in advance for the best rates, since airfares are also lower when one schedules travel during low season or off peak; avoid booking flights on Mondays and Fridays as these are considered as ‘busy days’ and ppt instead for quieter travel days like Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays and consider choosing early morning and red eye flights which are cheaper than those during peak hours.
Dailisan said that for guests looking to take advantage of PISO and other seasonal promos, consider these additional tips: stay updated on promos – guests may follow Fly AirAsia on Facebook and TikTok, and AirAsia and airasia Philippines on X for real-time updates on fare sales; a stable and fast connection is key to smoothly completing your transaction; book flights on the wee hours of the first day of the promo as PISO and other sales are activated during 12 midnight. Booking during these early hours increases the chances of securing the best possible deals.
“Many of our guests are now planning their holiday travels, and knowing the right booking strategies can help them maximize savings. These hacks are also intended to educate our guests on managing their travel plans, ensuring they make the most out of their travel budgets”, Dailisan said.
“To encourage guests to put the travel hacks into practice, the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is mounting its “LFG All Seats, All Flights” promo from October 7 to 13, which offers 20% discounts on domestic and international flights, including AirAsia’s newly launched route to Nagoya, Japan, available for travels beginning October 21, 2024 to May 31, 2025,” he said.
“Promos like these contribute significantly to our overall performance. We recently closed Q3 2024 with over 1.6 million passengers flown. We are entering Q4 on a strong note, with more than 500,000 seats already sold which is already more than 30% of our Q4 target”, Dailisan added.
Lastly, he reminded their guests that AirAsia Philippines’ terminal assignments remain the same – Terminal 2 for domestic and Terminal 3 for international flights.
