AirAsia Philippines announced cancellation of flights going to and from Tacloban on September 25, 2025, due to the forecasted unfavorable weather conditions and potential risks brought by Tropical Storm Opong (‘Bualoi’).
AirAsia Philippines spokesman, First Officer Steve Dailisan, said they have directly notified all affected guests via email and SMS on their flight status and service recovery options.
As the weather situation remains fluid, guests travelling to or from the affected destinations on September 25, 2025 were advised to stay updated via the AirAsia MOVE app (airasia.com/flightstatus), the AskBo chatbot and their registered email for the latest information, said Dailisan.
