A woman allegedly involved in human trafficking was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 by members of the Manila Police District-Special Mayors Reaction Team (MPD-SMaRT).

PMajor Edward Samonte, SMaRT chief, identified the suspect as Maria Rowena Himor, 43, of Brgy. Lagasit, San Quuntin, Pangasinan.

Himor’s arrest stemmed from an arrest warrant issued by Judge, Randy Bulwayan of the RTC Branch 23 in Roxas, Isabela, where she is facing a case of large scale and syndicated Illegal recruitment.

The court recommended no bail for her temporary liberty and she now remains in the custody of SMaRT for proper documentation and disposition.
