OPERATIVES from the NAIA-PDEA and the PNP-AVSEGROUP barred from entry into the country an American couple after they were found in possession of a vape that contained liquid marijuana at the NAIA terminal 4.
In its report, the PDEA said that security personnel found two thin vapes as the couple passed through the final security checkpoint. One of the vapes contained liiquid marijuana which, the passengers said, they use for medicinal purposes.
The couple are reportedly about to board an Air Swift flight T6-0142 bound for El Nido, Palawan for a vacation when stopped at the NAIA 4.
The said passengers’ explanation was not accepted by PDEA authorities who said that even if it is legal in their country to bring liquid marijuana as a form of medicine, such is not allowed in the Philippines.
