‘Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real’ airs anew to intensify GMA’s Afternoon Prime lineup

Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real

AFTERNOONS get more interesting with the return of the award-winning drama series “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” on GMA’s Afternoon Prime block.

Relive once again the exceptional portrayal of its powerhouse ensemble — Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Premier Drama actress Lovi Poe, and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano – in the compelling story of a man who is in love with two women and married them both.

After its first run on Philippine TV, the series received multiple recognitions from various award-giving bodies including Outstanding Performance by an Actor for Dingdong, Outstanding Performance by an Actress for Maricel, Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress for Alessandra de Rossi and Outstanding Original Drama Program at the 6th Golden Screen TV Awards; Plaque of Commendation and Best Primetime Teleserye at the Northwest Samar State University Student’s Choice Award; and the Silver Screen Award at the 2015 US International Film & Video Festival. It also got several nominations at the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television.

Under the helm of esteemed director Andoy Ranay, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” is more than just another drama on infidelity. It aims to show the real consequences and changes in the life of the betrayer and the betrayed – that there are no victors.

Also part of the cast are respected TV, theater, and movie actors and actresses Robert Arevalo, Celeste Legaspi, Tommy Abuel, Jaime Fabregas, Susan Africa, Alessandra de Rossi, and Ms. Coney Reyes.

This original series, created by the GMA Entertainment Group, is headed by SVP for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, VP for Drama Redgie A. Magno, AVP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Senior Program Manager Redgynn Alba, and Executive Producer Nieva Savit.

The drama is a product of the visionary minds of Headwriter and Concept Creator Geng Delgado-Delos Reyes; Creative Head RJ Nuevas; Creative Consultant Suzette Doctolero; Writers Leilani Chavez and Jason Lim; and brainstormers Jonathan Cruz, Paul Sta. Ana, and Michelle Amog.
