ARTE Partylist care for cancer patients

ARTE Partylist

ARTE Partlyist, Rotary Club Foundation, and former beauty queen Shamcey Supsup Lee offer their combined support to the cancer patients at Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Manila.

The Rotary Club Foundation kindly donated 40 infusion pumps to people in need, and Susup-Lee, a third runner-up in Miss Universe, was joined in visiting the hospital by his husband Llyod Lee, the first nominee of the ARTE Partylist, who brought food packs and vitamins.

“These small but meaningful acts of kindness offer strength to heal, much like an infusion pump provides steady and essential care,” Lloyd Lee remarked. Our group action is a reminder that we all play a part in helping one another—providing hope, consolation, and fortitude in times of need, much like vitamins do for the body, he added We want to show everyone that even in the most difficult circumstances, deeds of kindness are what keep us going and help us triumph. Kasama mo kami sa ARTE!, said Supsup-Lee, an architect and Pasig City councilor candidate.

Vitamins are crucial for cancer patients as they help alleviate symptoms, improve quality of life, and even enhance the effectiveness of cancer treatments . Intravenous Vitamin C has been shown to reduce cancer-related side effects and even exhibit anti-tumor properties in high doses.

This method allows for higher concentrations of vitamin C to reach the cells, which may help combat cancer . Infusion pumps play a vital role in administering IV vitamin C and other nutrients to cancer patients.

These pumps ensure a controlled and steady flow of nutrients into the bloodstream, which is essential to minimize the risk of overdose or underdose.

ARTE Partylist advocates for Retail and Fashion, Textile and Tradition, Entertainment and Creative Sector all are called Malikhaing Manggagawang Pilipino.
