Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Norman Tansingco announced that an Australian hacker was stopped on his tracks after he tried to enter the Philippines last December 21.

Tansingco said that the BI’s Border Control and Enforcement Unit (BCIU) reported the interception of Risteski Borche, 40, who attempted to enter the Philippines aboard a Cebu Pacific flight from Sydney at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

An Australian of Macedonian descent and is subject of an interpol alert, Risteski is said to be wanted in Macedonia for illegally entering into a computer system, in violation of Article 251 of the criminal code of the Republic of Macedonia.

Risteski faces four years imprisonment in the said country and after being denied entry, Tansingco said he was recommended to be included in the BI’s blacklist as well.
