A BALLOON vendor was killed by an unidentified gunman while having a drinking spree with his neighbor Thursday night on Blk 25, Lot 59 Southville 1 in Bgy. Marinig, Cabuyao City, Laguna.
Police said Jeffrey Catalan, resident of Bgy. Marinig, died while under going treatment at the Holy Rosary Hospital due to serious bullet wounds in body.
Initial investigation showed the victim together with his friends were having a drinking spree when the suspect arrived and shot Catalan at about 11:45 p.m.
The suspect fled on foot.
Recovered from the crime scene were 4 empty cartridges of unknown caliber and three slugs.
