Ballot printing for 2025 Polls begins

Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman George Erwin Garcia announced that the poll body has begun on Monday the printing of ballots that would be used for the coming 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE).

The ballot printing was made at the National Printing Office (NPO) in Quezon City.

According to Garcia, a total of 71,076,588 ballots have been printed.

Earlier on, the Comelec has released the template for the official ballot for purposes of printing.

Included in the said printed ballots were the names of 66 senatorial aspirants while 155 were party-list groups.

Garcia said there are about 68 million registered voters in the country who are expected to cast their votes during the midterm polls.
