CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas — Batangas PNP recorded 209 arrests during the one-week regionwide Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), provincial police PIO chief Police Lieutenant Mary Anne DV Espina said the other day.
During the regionwide SACLEO conducted from March 22 to 26, the Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) under the leadership of Provincial Director PCol Rex Arvin T. Malimban arrested 88 for illegal drugs, 65 individuals for illegal gambling, 49 wanted persons, 16 that were included in most wanted person, and seven for illegal possession of firearms.
BPPO operations against illegal drugs likewise resulted in the confiscation of 247.2 grams of shabu and 20.9 grams of marijuana with a total DDB value of P1,683,264. It also accounted for a total of nine loose firearms during the SACLEO.
“This one-week accomplishment seeks to sustain the managing police operations approach of this Office on crime prevention and solution as the main goal of our anti-criminality campaign.
