Batangas most wanted for rape falls in Quezon

A 63-YEAR-OLD man wanted for rape was nabbed by authorities Friday in Tiaong, Quezon.

Sta. Teresita Municipal Police Station chief Captain Kermin Amor U. Cabrales identified the arrested suspect as Jaime Ojales Gamo, married, technician and a resident of Sitio Bunutan, Bgy. Cabay, Tiaong.

Joint personnel of the Sta Teresita and Tiaong MPSs collared Gamo in Bgy. Lagalag, Tiaong 8:10 a.m.

The operation against the suspect was conducted following information provided by the Barangay Information Network (BIN).

Gamo is the 4th most wanted suspect in Lambat Sibat and also No.4 in LOI Manhunt Charlie of the Sta Teresita MPS., Capt. Cabrales said.

Meanwhile in Bauan, 13 quarantine violators were held Friday by the police and are facing charges for violations Republic Act 11332 the other day.

Police Lt. Col Rhoderick DM Tonga, town police chief, identified the suspects as Vince Abrenica, 18, of Bgy. Sta Maria, Aris Silang y Herrera, of Bgy, Sta Maria, Jeffrey Contreras , 24, of Bgy. Poblacion 1, John Mark Contreras, 34, of Bgy. Poblacion 1, Michael Buhat, 37, of Bgy. Sta Maria, Julius Dymm Valencia, of Bgy. San Pedro, Felomino Acuzar, 44, of Bgy Sta. Maria, Jayson Alfredo, 31, of Bgy. Sta Maria, Jhon Jhon Ferrer, 38, of Bgy. San Miguel, all of Bauan; Francis Reyes, 42, of Bgy. Poblacion 1, Sta Teresita, Porcino Panganiban, 42, of Taysan Resty Buño, 40, of Bgy. Antipolo Sta Teresita, and Joel Pagcaliwagan, 41 of San Nicolas, in Batangas.

The suspects were on board of a van when they were flagged down at a quarantine control pointsin Bgy. Poblacion 4, Bauan at 8:15 p.m.

Upon inspection personnel of this station noticed that suspects were not practicing social distancing.
