The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), under the leadership of Commissioner Romeo D. Lumagui, Jr., celebrates a major milestone as its official website, www.bir.gov.ph, reached 50 Million visits as of March 2025. This significant achievement comes just eight months after the website’s launch in August 2024, reflecting the public’s growing reliance on the BIR’s digital services and information hub.
The enhanced BIR Website features a more comprehensive, user-friendly interface that provides taxpayers with access to essential resources and services. Among its most notable features is the eServices Tab, which consolidates all BIR online services and platforms, making tax compliance more convenient for individuals and businesses alike. In addition, the BIR Website offers easy access to the BIR Citizen’s Charter, BIR Forms, latest revenue issuances, zonal value of real properties, news, announcements, and a variety of tax information materials such as BIR Tax Calendar, daily tax reminders and Taxpayer Guides.
“The enhancement of the BIR Website is a manifestation of the Bureau’s commitment to improve taxpayer service experience through digital innovation. Reaching 50 Million visits in just 8 months from its launching is an indication of the trust and confidence of our taxpayers in the BIR’s online services. By making tax information and services more accessible, we are empowering taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations with ease and convenience,” said Commissioner Lumagui.
“Through our enhanced website, taxpayers can now access everything they need in one place. Whether it’s filing tax returns, accessing BIR forms, or checking the latest revenue issuances, the process is faster and easier for taxpayers,” he further said.
Since its launch, the BIR Website has been instrumental in supporting the BIR’s digitalization efforts and commitment to innovation and taxpayer-centric service. With the continuous rollout and enhancement of online services, the BIR is set to achieve even greater milestones in the digital landscape, fostering a culture of voluntary compliance and transparency in the country’s tax system.
