Northern Mindanao, Philippines — In line with the 34th BJMP Anniversary and as part of the Bureau’s simultaneous nationwide bloodletting activity, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region X successfully conducted its regional bloodletting drive, collecting a total of 405 blood units from various jail units across Northern Mindanao.
Organized in collaboration with the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), Philippine Red Cross chapters, and various provincial and city health offices, the initiative mobilized 228 BJMP personnel and 179 non-BJMP volunteers.
Among the top contributing units were:
- Regional Office — 127 units collected in partnership with NMMC
- Valencia City Male Dormitory — 111 units in collaboration with Philippine Red Cross and Robinsons Valencia
- Valencia City Female Dormitory — 44 units with Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center and Valencia City Health Office
- Iligan City Jail-Male Dormitory — 12 units with Philippine Red Cross-Iligan Chapter
- Ozamis City Jail Male and Female Dormitories — 22 units collectively donated
BJMP Regional Director JCSUPT FELIXBERTO S JAGORIN JR., DSC, expressed his gratitude to all personnel and partners involved:

The BJMP Region X bloodletting initiative not only bolsters emergency medical response capacity but also fosters stronger partnerships between the Jail Bureau, healthcare providers, and local communities.
The Bureau remains committed to promoting voluntary blood donation among its personnel and stakeholders as part of its broader health and humanitarian efforts.
