Cagayan de Oro City — The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Regional Office 10 proudly joined the VibeRun: Takbo para sa Mga Servant Heroes at the scenic River Boulevard (Rio de Oro Section) in Cagayan de Oro City. Held early this morning, this dynamic event was part of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebrations.
Under the guidance of JCSUPT CESAR M LANGAWIN, Regional Director, BJMP Regional Office 10 demonstrated its unwavering commitment to public service and community engagement. Personnel from both the Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Male Dormitory, led by JSUPT WILLIAM T MANENGYAO, DPA, City Jail Warden, and the Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Female Dormitory, led by JINSP LYN M BERNIL, actively participated in this inspiring run.
The VibeRun, as initiated by a letter invitation from the Civil Service Commission Regional Office 10 and signed by Ms. Noemi Rabe Torres, Director IV, on August 14, 2024, sought to raise funds and build awareness for the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani initiative. This initiative honors the dedication and contributions of civil servants, while also promoting health and camaraderie among them.
The event’s vibrant atmosphere and enthusiastic participation underscored the BJMP’s dedication to fostering a spirit of unity and wellness within the public service community. The run along Cagayan de Oro’s River Boulevard was a celebration of service and solidarity, showcasing the BJMP’s commitment to both its mission and the well-being of its personnel.
