OFFICERS and personnel of the Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), led by the office of District Collector Atty. Yasmin O. Mapa, participated in the 1st General Assembly of the Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC).
The said assembly was held on May 27, 2024 at the Federation Center, Muelle de Binondo in Manila.
Gracing the event were Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, NAIA-Customs assistant deputy collector Mark Jhon Almase and other BOC officials and members of the CICAC.
The assembly was highlighted by the presentation of a ‘Manifesto of Support’ by the 17 local CICACs.
Along with this, new CICAC members also manifeseted their pledge of commitment.
Mapa explained that CICAC serves as a consultative body designed to foster collaboration between the BOC and the business-industrial sector.
