Seef District, Bahrain – With the expanding appetite for mixed martial arts (MMA) events and content drawing global attention, BRAVE Combat Federation is punching well above its weight.

BRAVE CF may have firmly established its roots in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, but it did not hinder the promotion from going beyond its borders to establish itself as one of the major players in the sport today.

Since its inception in 2016, the organization has been very active in holding shows in different parts of the globe. Thus far, BRAVE CF has spearheaded 51 live events in five continents and has visited 22 different countries, including Russia, Sweden, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Mexico and the Philippines.

Furthermore, it took advantage of venturing into untapped markets like India, Pakistan, Columbia, Romania, South Africa, Morocco, and Jordan.

In line with its strategy of building talents from the grassroots level, the promotion has signed more than 500 athletes from 70 different nations and has also been pivotal in the formation of local and homegrown stars such as Eldar Eldarov, Abdisalam Kubanychbek, Muhammad Mokaev and Jarrah Al-Silawi.

BRAVE CF’s strategic expansion has been credited to its unique business model that focuses more on the development of the sport per continent by creating an MMA ecosystem, which will empower governing bodies as well as help local leagues and their athletes gain international exposure.

That was the goal when BRAVE CF partnered with Rukh Sport Management to host its inaugural card in Minsk, Belarus last June 4th, offering 11 exciting bouts that featured six up-and-comers from the host nation.

“BRAVE CF has contributed so much to the reemergence of Belarus in MMA. Football, hockey, and basketball are the most popular sports in our country. But thanks to a promotion like BRAVE CF, the future of MMA in Belarus is secured,” said Tatsiana Kukhareva, the director of Rukh Sport Management.

The same formula will be applied when the MMA outfit makes its much-awaited debut in Milan, Italy on August 1st for BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood headlined by a Light Heavyweight World Championship clash between middleweight titleholder Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine and Mohamed “L’Ambiance” Said Maalem.

“We are very excited at BRAVE CF to be leading the European MMA scene today,” company COO Valeria Lang stated. “Europe is a key market for global sports regulation and development, and we intend to develop MMA in this market and give the biggest opportunity to the top European fighters and make them global stars.”

Europe has been the center of BRAVE CF’s attention in 2021, kicking off with a stacked card in Sochi, Russia this past January and then making a foray into Belarus to cap off the first six months of the year.

Italy will be the eighth European nation that BRAVE CF has ventured into throughout its existence, and it won’t be too long before the promotion returns to the region as it is slated to hold a spectacle in Konin, Poland on September 25.

“I believe that BRAVE CF will be the MMA story of Europe. We have a model for Europe that is guaranteed success,” Lang declared.
