Brutal shooting incident in Tondo leaves man dead, suspect hunted down

THE Manila Police District (MPD) is on the hunt for a male suspect who killed a 40-year-old man in Tondo, Manila the other night by shooting him three times in the body.

The victim was identified as Jason Laquindanum, alias Jason Bangkay, of Blk. 20, Unit 224, Permanent Housing,Tondo, Manila.

MPD-homicide section prober PCMS Dennis Suba said the murder took place at 7:16 p.m. at the corner of Dayao and Infanta Streets in Balut, Tondo, Manila.

A lady witness aged 20 said she was inside her home when she heard gunshots. As she tried to check, the victim, with blood oozing from his body, entered her home to hide.

This prompted her to seek the help of the barangay, which sent a team that brought the victim to the Tondo Medical Center where he expired at 5:10 a.m.

Meanwhile, the MPD-homicide section said its probe continues, as the identity of the suspect and the motive behind the killing remain unknown.
