THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) under Director General retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario conducted an inspection of the CAAP Central Office Complex on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and facility utilization.

CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonios said Director General Del Rosario emphasized the need to upgrade facilities and streamline workflows to better support the Authority’s mandate as the walkthrough revealed some underutilized rooms and equipment.

Apolonio added that key infrastructure projects inspected during the visit included the construction of the Air Traffic Services (ATS) Building and CAAP Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) office aimed at addressing the growing space and operational requirements of CAAP.

He said Del Rosario also reviewed the upcoming renovation of the Flight Standards Inspectorate Service (FSIS) and Aerodrome and Air Navigation Safety Oversight Office (AANSO).

These infrastructure improvements form part of the agency’s broader initiative to modernize its facilities and optimize internal processes in support of its critical regulatory and service functions, he added.
