Cagayan de Oro City – The Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Male Dormitory has actively participated in the flagship program of Hon. Mayor Rolando “Klarex” A. Uy called “Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Baryo.” The program aims to bring government services to the doorstep of communities and restore trust and confidence in the government.
On September 7, 2024, under the leadership of JSUPT WILLIAM T MANENGYAO, DPA, City Jail Warden, the personnel of Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Male Dormitory gathered at Macanhan National High School, Brgy. Macanhan, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City to offer their support to the program.
During the event, the CDOCJ-MD distributed ELCAC leaflets, attended inquiries for possible programs, and provided services for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). Additionally, the team offered food, extended the application process for Jail Visitors ID, and conducted free blood pressure check-ups for the community and concerned families of the PDL.
The “Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Baryo” program aims to bridge the gap between the government and the community by bringing agencies’ services directly to the people. By actively participating in this initiative, the Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Male Dormitory aims to contribute to the overall development and well-being of the community.
