Calarzon’s 10th most wanted felon falls

LUCENA CITY— Joint police units on Tuesday arrested a wanted felon facing rape with homicide charges at Bgy. Batabat Sur, Buenavista, Quezon.

Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director, said Joey Apura Tanlangco, 49, farmer, and residing in said village tried to evade arrest but was immediately collared by joint elements of Buenavista police station under Capt. Aaron Herrera, Regional Intelligence Division (RID) and Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU) led by PMSG Alvin Ogbac.

Madrideo said the lawmen carried out the arrest on the strength of an arrest order issued by Judge Edilwasif Baddiri.

He added the suspect is listed as the 10th most wanted person in the regional level.

Quoting police records, the police director said the suspect was charged for raping and stabing to death his victim on December 26, 2017 at Brgy. Del Rosario, Buenavista, Quezon.
