The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Intertextual Division is now accepting additional literary and art submissions for the 42nd edition of Ani, the official literary journal of CCP.
The latest volume will now feature multilingual literary works on COVID-19, Enhanced Community Quarantine, Lockdown, Isolation, and Healing
Only works created from July 2020 to the present will be accepted in this call for submissions. Those who submitted earlier than July 2020 with the same theme do not need to submit again.
Literary contributions may be in the form of essays, poems, short fiction, works for children, and other genres. Submissions may be in Filipino, English, and local languages of the Philippines, accompanied by a translation in either Filipino or English.
Submissions must be original and unpublished. There’s no page and word limit but entries should be submitted in Arial font (12 pts), double-spaced in 8 1/2” x 11” paper size, with a short bio note of at least 3-5 sentences, photo, home address, contact details, and tax identification number (TIN) of the author.
For artworks, each artist can submit a maximum of three (3) entries. Submissions must be unpublished and original creations of the participating artist. Works must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format with a short bio note of at least 3-5 sentences, photo, home address, contact details, and tax identification number (TIN) of the artist.
Types of eligible art submissions include 2D artistic works—photographs, paintings, prints, and digital artworks. The expression can be either traditional or contemporary.
