Caloocan implements StaySafe app vs COVID

THE Caloocan city government has started to implement the StaySafe App in all public and private establishment to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and for mandatory contact tracing.

Mayor Oscar “Oca’ Malapitan advised residents and all those who will enter the city hall and all public and private establishments to download the StaySafe.PH application and register to secure a unique QR Code which they can store on their phone.

However, all those without StaySafe App, whether employees or taxpayers, will be temporarily allowed to write their names and contact number in entering the city hall premisis but will be advised to download the application on their next visit.

Last week, Mayor Oca issued an order mandating the installation and use of the StaySafe App system in all local government offices private and commercial establishments in Caloocan city.

The StaySafe application is the official health condition reporting and contact tracing system in the country that will assist in the government’s response to COVID-19 pandemic.
