A GANG member was arrested by Manila Police District -Station 1 operatives after he allegedly stole a health care supervisor’s parked motorcycle in Tondo, Manila the other night.
Charges of violation of R.A. 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Law) were filed before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office against the suspect identified as John Eric Glenn Hilario, 25, allegedly a member of the ‘Commando Gang’ and residing in Barangay 136 Zone 12, Tondo, Manila.
The stolen white Honda Click with plate number N9061K was not recovered and his accomplice, identified as Dave Molina, of Balut, Tondo, is still being hunted down by the police.
Victim Jomel Parco, 37, of No.116 Patria St., Barangay 146, Tondo, said he parked his motorcycle along Banahaw Street in Barangay 142, Balut, Tondo, and discovered that it was already gone at around 11 a.m. on January 5.
Immediately, he sought assistance from the MPD-Station 1 and based on the CCTV backtracking made, the suspect’s whereabouts was known and he was arrested during a follow -up operation by the police.
