Cascolan thanks Duterte for chance to lead PNP

A DAY before his retirement, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan thanked President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for giving him a chance to lead the organization.

Cascolan retires from service Tuesday, November 10, 2020

The outgoing Chief PNP said leading the PNP for two months might not enough but he believes he has done many things to improve the organization in a very short span of time.

Cascolan stressed that to improve the welfare of PNP personnel , he implemented the localization program.

Under the program, he assigned his men in areas near their homes to make it easy for them to report to work and at the same time be with their families.

He said if he would be asked to give his performance as Chief PNP a grade, he will give 9.5 out of a perfect 10.

However, Cascolan said what really matters right now will be the satisfaction grade that will be given by the public.

In line with this, Cascolan refused to confirm information that he will be assigned to the Bureau of Customs after his retirement.
