Cagayan de Oro City — The Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Male Dormitory (CDOCJ-MD), led by City Jail Warden JSUPT MARLON J YMBALLA, DSC, joined hands with the local government in the implementation of the flagship program of Hon. Mayor Rolando “Klarex” A. Uy, known as “Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Baryo.” The event, held at Baikingon Elementary School in Barangay Baikingon, Cagayan de Oro City, is part of the Mayor’s initiative to bring government services directly to the community and strengthen the public’s trust and confidence in local government services.
CDOCJMD personnel played an active role in the program by distributing leaflets on the government’s End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC), addressing inquiries related to potential programs and providing services for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). In addition to these efforts, the team also offered free health services such as blood pressure check-ups, processed applications for Jail Visitation IDs, and distributed food to residents of the area.
This community outreach is part of the ongoing commitment of the CDOCJ-MD to support local government initiatives that aim to foster collaboration between government agencies and the public, as well as to promote community well-being. Through such programs, the city government hopes to further enhance the relationship between authorities and citizens, working together for a more responsive and inclusive community.
