Due to persistent rains and major flooding around the metropolis brought about by Typhoon Carina, flights have been subject to delays and interruptions.
Philippine Airlines (PAL) spokesperson Ma. Cielo Villaluna said that owing to this, “we highly encourage you to check the status of your flight before proceeding to the airport.”
“You may log on to http://www.philippineairkines.com and visit ‘Flight Status’. Simply type in your flight number and your flight status will be indicated onscreen. If your flight is pushing through, please allot adequate travel time to the airport to make it to your scheduled departure,” Villaluna said.
She added: “For urgent concerns and information, you may reach us via: Hotline: (+632) 8539-0000 / (+632) 8855-8888; Philippines Mobile: (+63) 919-056-2255; Messenger: https://bit.ly/PALMessenger; Viber: Search for Philippine Airlines; WhatsApp: Add us as a new contact (+63) 998-951-4359 and myPALWeb Chat: https://bit.ly/PAL-Web-Chat.
Villaluna said PAL is extending all assistance necessary to affected passengers as they closely monitor the situation and update passengers of any developments.
