A YOUNG Chinese national died after reportedly jumping off from the window located at the fifth floor of his condominium on Adriatico Street in Ermita, Manila.
The victim was identified by PMSg Archie Victorino, investigator of the Manila Police District -homicide section, as Liu Zhan, of Unit 1004 Century Peak Tower located at 1439 M.Adriatico St. Ermita, Maynila.
Initial investigation showed that the incident took place at 8:30 p.m. inside the said condominium.
Before the incident, his companion Zhang Jianping said the victim told him that he heard commotion outside their unit.
Following this, the victim became frenzied, ran out and jumped off from the window of the condo building’s fiftth floor.
He was rushed to the Manila Medical Center but died later due to injuries he sustained.
Meantime, a probe is being conducted on the matter and the victim’s body remains at the morgue of the said hospital.
