CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Region 3 (CIDG3) arrested a suspected rapist in Bulacan and a suspected arsonist in Aurora last Wednesday.
Col. Amante Daro, CIDG-3 officer, said that Cesario Tolentino, 65, a carpenter in Malolos, Bulacan was arrested by CIDG operatives in Bulacan after the Regional Trial Court Branch 19 of Malolos issued an arrest warrant for rape under with no bail recommended and for sexual assault with P200,000 bail recommended against him.
The CIDG-Bulacan cops were assisted by Bulacan policemen.
In San Luis, Aurora, CIDG-Pampanga, along with 1PMFC, NEPPO, 71 IB,71ID, PA, PIU-TARLAC, 1PMFC, APPO, 142 SAC,14SAB, Gabaldon MPS, NEPPO and San Luis police, and APPO arrested the former secretary of the Aurora provincial committee of the communist movement.
Daro identified the suspect as Delfin Pimenter alias “Medy” and “Levin”.
The suspect is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by the RTC Branch 35 of Santiago City for destructive arson with no bail recommended and another for attempted homicide issued by the MTC Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija with P24,000 recommended bail.
The suspects are under the custody of the CIDG and will be presented to the courts that issued warrants against them.
